The Dentist

Dr. D.L. am Inc. was founded and established in 2003 by Dr. Darren Sam. Dr. Sam was born and raised in Vancouver. He attended The University of British Columbia and completed a Bachelor of Science and then went on to complete a degree in Pharmacy. While working as a pharmacist, Dr. Sam continued to attend UBC to study dentistry. His strong background in science and medicine is an asset to his practice as a dentist. His experience as a former pharmacist makes him knowledgable in drug interactions and assists him in the care and treatment of his patients. Dr. Sam continues to enhance his dentistry skills by joining study groups and has a special interest in Orthodontics and Implant Therapy.

Dr. Sam, his wife and daughters reside in Burnaby. He enjoys photography, playing sports and spending time with his family. Dr. Sam’s wife, Shani is the owner of Tot-to-go Design Inc. She also aids in running Dr. D.L. Sam Inc. outside of the office.

The staff members of Dr. D.L. Sam Inc. are highly trained and professional individuals. They are dedicated to caring and educating our wonderful family of patients.

Receptionist

You will be greeted on the phone and in person by Anna, our friendly receptionist. Anna was born in former Czechoslovakia and moved to Vancouver eighteen years ago. She has been in the dental field for over 14 years and enjoys her work as a choice of life career. Anna is devoted to providing all patients with optimal care and attention. Patients are more than welcome to direct any insurance or financial questions to her. She will work closely with you to ensure that you receive all the dental benefits to which you are entitled.
